Disqualified

Published by Eric Hemati on

During the press conference to announce NOKIA being acquired by Microsoft, the Nokia CEO ended his speech saying this:

“We didn’t do anything wrong, but somehow, we lost”.

Upon saying that, all his management team, himself included, teared sadly.

Nokia had been a respectable company. They didn’t do anything wrong in their business. They just let the world change too fast around them.

They missed out on learning. They missed out on changing. So they lost their opportunity to become a giant company. They lost their position of leadership. They even lost their right to survive.

Moral of the Story:
If you do not change, you will be disqualified from the competition. If you do not want to learn new things and change your thoughts and mentality and improve, you will be forgotten with time.
